The SoCal LDS Christian Singles are at it again the Friday, April 13, 2012. They are hosting another fun dance party for singles that promises to offer a wonderful alternative to the Bar Scene that so many of LA’s Singles complain about because it is too challenging to meet, mingle, and converse with any quality singles at most Singles Bars.
The LDS Christian Singles dances are open to singles of all backgrounds. Indeed, this is a well-attended Southern California Singles Dance and is not LDS-exclusive. Sure, this SoCal dance will have an excellent turn out of single eligible LDS Christians. However, as a Christian Singles Group, they are excellent about getting the word out to a variety of SoCal Singles and bring various friends.
One of the wonderful attributes of the LDS Christian Singles Dances is that there is no alcohol or smoking. So that means that no-one is under the influence and you can actually converse comfortably with others there. You can become acquainted comfortably in a clean activities environment that both women and men can feel comfortable in. No drunken bar brawling here!
Santa Monica LDS Christian Singles Month of April Friday 13th Dance

LA Singles Dance Location: Santa Monica Stake Center
Address: 3400 Sawtelle Blvd, LA, CA 90066
The Santa Monica Stake Center is off the 405 on Sawtelle Blvd. To get there, take the Venice Blvd Exit. Then head North on Sawtelle. Or just follow your GPS or GPS App to get there. My understanding is that there is lots of parking. In LA, that is a big plus, isn’t it now?
Dress Code: This is Los Angeles. That means that naturally, you will want to Dress to Impress with a stylish casual edge to it. Even if you wear blue jeans, do ensure that they are really nice jeans paired with a great shirt, not just a schlumpy t-shirt.
The LDS Singles Group who is sponsoring this dance is the 31+ year olds. However, know the dance is open to everyone. Just do keep in mind that the majority of attendees will be 30 somethings into about their mid 40s. If you are a bit older or younger, that is still totally cool. However, if you’re 65, then you just run the risk of being the only there in your age demographic.
The doors open at 8:30 PM so you can purchase your very inexpensive $5.00 ticket. When you arrive early, you have the added advantage of meeting more of the other singles who attend. You will practice your social conversational skills the most this way as well as create more casual acquaintances and possible friendship with this social approach. It demonstrates your great confidence. You are here to connect with others. Not to be PUA.
The DJ’s dance itself starts at 9:00pm and goes until 1:00 am. There is always plenty of good food at this LA Singles Dance event as well.
