Sir Paul McCartney Weds American Nancy Shevell in London
Paul McCartney married Nancy Shevell today in Old Marylebone Town Hall. The couple got married in a small intimate civil shared in attendance with Ringo Starr on the groom’s side and journalist Barbara Walters who is a second cousin to bride Nancy. The ceremony was intimate in its understated tone, allowing their love and romance to shine through more than pomp and circumstance.
Fans are hoping three times the charm.
The first time McCartney wed in Old Marylebone Town Hall was to photographer Linda Eastman, his long time first wife and great love, who died in April 1998 due to Breast Cancer. McCartney‘ second marriage to model Heather Mills was miserable and unended in great public turmoil in 2008 where the whole world knows the divorce settlement she received. Many fans and public on the outside were so burnt for Sir Paul that many felt that oh surely he would not wed again.
However, to a many with a great abundance of riches, he could live without the money he settled on Mills for the divorce. Some would say, divorce from her would be worth it at any price.
And yet Sir Paul is a man whose very nature it is to love. He co-wrote, wrote, and sang some of the most beautiful and heartfelt love songs of the modern era. So of course, he would choose to love again and be open to the possibility of a real and lasting love to re-enter his life.
In meeting and courting Nancy Shevell, he has indeed found that. Fans worldwide wish them well and every happiness.
“Love, love me, do. You know I love you. I’ll always be true. So please, love me do.”
It looks like for Paul and Nancy, indeed they do.
Happy Dating and Relationships,

October 10, 2011 at 11:41 AMI remember reading the no prenup Paul McCartnery article you wrote. Apparently the Paul McCartnery Wedding was a success. Having Ringo Starr there as the only other living Beatle should have sured it.

This article had me smiling the whole time. You hit on something that would have surely bittered Sir Paul – that being Heather Mills – but, as you said, his very nature is to love. Beautiful article!

October 11, 2011 at 4:17 AMI don’t know why, but I seem to be happier for celebrities when they marry “unknowns.” Maybe I feel like marrying other celebrities seems to end in divorce too often or that they marry as a publicity stunt. I was very happy to hear the news that Paul and Nancy got married. I wouldn’t want to have all that money but no one to love. I’m sure that you dating diva, April Braswell, would even have a few good tips for celebrities looking to date! come by and visit my blog sometime!

October 11, 2011 at 4:20 AMI suppose the fact that his new bride is wealthy in her own right made it easier to decide not to do a pre-nup – in addition to all the good reasons (trusts etc) you mentioned in your earlier article.
I wanted the practicality of a prenup for my own marriage but the hopeless romantic in me always hopes for a “happily ever after”!
I don’t know much about H. Mills, perhaps she’s not quite as bad as she’s made out to be by the press. I hope Sir Paul is happy again.
