If you’re an OC Single and have been reading my series on selecting some of the 4th of July Festivities to celebrate and to enjoy alone or with your family and friends, then you already know of a number of ways I suggest how you can leverage these fun events to socialize and meet new people.
You don’t always have to attend a “Singles” event to meet new singles and to socialize. The booths, the face painting, the crafts and food booths all offer you focused locations to just casually meet and lightly chit chat with new people. Certainly, this means for you that you want to get to the Laguna Hills Independence Day Celebration during the afternoon. Don’t just plan to get there to see the fun fireworks festival of you will miss all the opportunities to meet people. Once it’s dark, you’ll be hampered.
The Laguna Hills Independence Day Celebration features Carnival rides, games, live music, patriotic crafts in addition to fun face painting, food, and festivities. This is definitely a celebration where you can bring the whole family and your group of friends and certainly have plenty of opportunities to meet and mingle casually with lots of new people there as well. Topping off the day with be a fireworks display at 9:10 pm, preceded by the Mayor’s Welcome to the evening.
Laguna Hills’ 4th of July Celebration is being held at the Laguna Hills Community Center & Sports Complex.
4:00 pm – 9: 30 pm
25555 Alicia Parkway 92653
As with all of SoCal, there are some interesting issues with parking. The Laguna Hills government website does forewarn festival attendees that the Alicia Town Center. In particular they warn that violators will be towed. So definitely, plan to park your car elsewhere. The Laguna Hills High School has permitted parking as well as some dirt lots. Take a look at the Laguna Hills government website link to the event calendar at the map for where you can park. You’ll want to make note of what is allowed in advance.
