It’s Friday morning. Do you have a packed weekend completely planned? If you’re still looking for some fun social things to do this weekend in SoCal, you’re not too late. This evening O.C. Singles 4 Christ is hosting a special dance in celebration of the Memorial Day holiday. I cannot tell you the number of now happily married couples I know who met each other while dancing.
It’s always so encouraging and refreshing to find churches who are still dedicating a ministry for their singles. When Scripture advocates we marry, and it’s in our natural human design to desire to pair off with a life partner and seek a life mate, it’s wonderful to have faith communities help and support their singles to follow this natural human desire.
The faithful folks at OC Singles for Christ are hosting their annual Memorial Day Weekend Dinner Dance Friday night, May 24th, from 6:45-12:30PM. They are hosting the special romantic dinner dance at the beautiful scenic The Tee Room Clubhouse at the Newport Beach Golf Course. Note the change of city location from their usual Friday worship and fellowship venue in Fountain Valley.
This special dinner dance event includes DJ dance music, full dinner and beverages, dancing, fun and fellowship.

The Tee Room Clubhouse, Newport Beach Golf Course, 3100 Irvine Avenue, Newport Beach, CA 92660
When:
Doors open at 6:45 PM, and dinner is served from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Do be sure to give yourself some advance time getting there, getting parked, and locating The Tee Room Clubhouse so that you have maximum time to mingle and fellowship with your fellow attendees.
The Dance starts at 8:00 PM and goes until 12:30 AM.
Dress Code:
They suggest attendees “Dress to impress” while still doing so in a “Tasteful modest attire.” (No plunging necklines to there or skirts up to here. And guys, some of the modesty stuff goes for you, too.)
The Dinner Menu:
The dinner menu planned featured a marvelous full buffet style meal, complete with Green Salad, Pasta Salad, Fruit, Rice, Vegetables, Potato, Pasta with Meat Sauce, Roasted Chicken, Roast Beef, Assorted Desserts, with unlimited coffee and soft drink beverages. (I know. I’m getting hungry just now citing this. Yum!)
Cost:
$30 at the door.
