I was just having dinner tonight with a lovely engaged couple I know (he’s a Baby Boomer man, she is Genx). While enjoying our evening meal, we captured my Dating to Intimacy Creating Dating Tip of The Daily 5.
Online Dating offers a terrific way for midlife singles to meet when the Single Scene changes after 40.
However, there are still other ways to meet singles in your daily life organically and naturally. Read on to discover a simple Daily Practice.
Implementing it makes it into a habit and increases your social ease, comfort, and poise!

It’s all covered in written format to empower your implementing and practicing this to make it your own. It is written out in scripted sentences to help make it easy for you to practice.
Singles Guys Requested Scripts: You Want It! You Got It!
Early on in my dating coaching work the men requested just that. Amazingly, they wanted to have exact sentences to use to start them out. Remarkably, men wanted to know precisely what to say to women to break the ice.
Sure, they were going to eventually make those sentences their own. But to get started, they craved a script to practice with. Because they wanted something to help them feel comfortable and confident talking with women in public. So, I heard and responded with targeted help so men and women could feel secure breaking the ice with strangers.

Meeting and Breaking the Ice with People: Video Format Example
And for you VISUAL learners like myself, here is the fun video version. Isn’t the soft lighting romantic and dreamy? It’s shot in Henderson, the Las Vegas neighboring area where a lot of the Las Vegan locals live. The restaurant is The Cheesecake Factory.
Their outdoor seating patio area is just lovely, and in fact is terrific for a Great First Date Idea as well!
Singles Advice for Relationship Oriented Men and Women Over 30, 40, and 50
While I recorded this at the time for Boomer Women, both men and women who are over 35, 40, 45, 50 plus could practice this Daily 5 practice, regardless of generation label, useful for Gen X and Gen Y, and younger to practice your social ease daily to activate it. This is even a fun practice for singles in their 30s who may not feel they are they are the most “socially forward” as my sister described the social ease I had developed by the time I was in High School.
If you feel that you want more practice socially in non-threatening environments where the risk threshold is quite low, this is an excellent tip for you to use. That which we do daily, or at least a few times a week, becomes a habit and part of new way of being.
Repeatedly Doing a New Behavior Makes It a Habit
It’s proven that the DOING reprograms our brain and opens and strengthens neuropathways in the direction of the experiences we wish to live out and enjoy. What we do habitually strengthens those pathways and programs ourselves to do those things.
By repeatedly doing these easy-to-implement steps, amazingly, you’ll discover they become part of your automatic behaviors. At some point along the way, that which you had to think to do consciously, your unconscious mind takes over doing.
Remember what it was like when you first learned to drive? Do you remember how you needed to think and concertedly focus on doing each micro-step?
That’s what it’s like when we’re learning to do something new. With repeatedly doing the New Behavior, it becomes natural and organic for us to do all the time. We execute it comfortably and with social aplomb.
It eventually becomes part of WHO you are. Now it’s no longer something you do consciously. It just becomes part of you.
Practicing this remarkably simple yet powerful social interpersonal skill tip will put you at ease socially in many situations.
Where do you want to practice implementing this social tip today or this weekend? Where immediately pops to mind?
Happy Dating and Relationships, folks!

Just read a tips on lovers’ guide to technology:
” You shouldn’t be spending more time online than with our partner. There’s no substitute for quality time with the person you love, so don’t be a slave to technology.”

I can’t buy A Flip Video in Australia!
And there is supposed to have NO warranty if I buy from overseas (US) or use in Australia!
I know their sound volume is not crash hot but the unit is so easy to use: just turn it on, point & shoot!!! Plus easy to upload to YouTube, which is a great time saver!
