To Find Love After 40 at Midlife: You Should Be Dancing!
I was just in the midwest and attended a number of social soiree events while there.
And I have to say and testify that, yes, I know you have heard it before, and guess what? It works!
If you are a single guy or single gal, whether you are 25, 35, 45, 55, or 65, yes, indeed, a great way to meet other singles is to hit the dance floors and go dancing!
Now the venues which are really the best are often the ones which are NOT the huge mammoth dance clubs.
Rather, small events hosted by a social group, or a bar and grill with a live band and small dance floor, or those places on M-Th nights which offer dance classes and THEN a social dance time.
I mean, I know I’m good, ok, great, at meeting single men and getting asked out on lots of dates. This is part of how I am a Dating Expert and am invited to lead Flirting and Dating workshop. However, this is not just me and my being so magnetically attractive.
Of course, while you are there, chat up the other singles.
Ladies, flirt, bat those eyelashes, and banter with your guy friends and around your girlfriends. Guys, invite her to sit down with you for a minute, rest her feet and buy her a drink. And do ask her dance! And then DO ask her for her phone number and give her yours so she feels safe and secure.
When you apply this easy dating advise and tip, indeed, you will more singles. Yes, you might have to drive a few towns over to go the really good places. One of my favorite West Coast Swing venues midweek, people drive in from over 75 miles away because the dancing is so great and the crowd is so friendly. Keep an open mind. Do some reconnaissance for your singles dating venues.
And HIT THE DANCE FLOORS!
Then be sure to bop or boogie back over here and tell us all about it!
Happy Dating and Relationships,
