Outside of Country Be Careful and Forewarned of Scam Artists
This is one of the curses of a number of the online dating sites as well, especially the free or cheap price internet dating sites.
Dear Sister, Dear Brother:
Sometimes the Faith Based dating site do feature particular faith based for instance Biblical appeals aimed to tug at the heart strings. They address you as Sister or Brother. Be forewarned and put your credit card away!
There are both men and women who are one kind of scam artist or another. They write to you lengthy notes and may even start a correspondence with you. Their profile may have photos and they may have more than 10 friends at Facebook. And then you find that they are in one way or another aiming to snare you in the enticing web of a scam, on you!
Money Request Scams:
The single women are often quite enticing and beautiful. Their emails tell of how they like American mind and how they are family oriented and love children. It is usually after several emails have been exchanged and you have started to open up to each other at a deeper and more emotionally entangled level. And then ever so softly they start to tell you of some difficulty they are facing, an illness, a debt, their rent, something and they solicit you for money.
For the women who receive overtures from scam artist men at Facebook and other Social Networking sites, their approach is usually one of appealing almost immediately to your maternal instinct to feel a little sorry for them.
They might write a lengthy note about an unfaithful former wife, being recently divorced, having young cute children, and now being open to love again. Or they are widowed with other similar stories of heartache. All this from a perfect stranger yes typically in the first one or two opening emails!
