Circling Your TIP: Target Ideal Prospect

After yesterday’s blog post about identifying and learning more about your T.I.P., then let me ask you, where does your T.I.P. typically keep their habitat?  The cougar and jaguar can be found in certain watering holes.  What about your T.I.P.?  Do they frequent the blue collar early morning breakfast venues like Denny’s and I.H.O.P. nationally?  Or are they more prone to the regional fun favorites of those?

Norm’s in Orange County, Southern California.
Nini’s in Silicon Valley.

Once you have dated quite a lot and have a better definition of you T.I.P. start to identify their lair.  Where do they eat?  Where do they get their hair styled?  What restaurants do they frequent?  And what coffee shops win their business?

The same principles hold for sales people and business owners who are directly selling business product and services.  Once you have you T.I.P. and your TIP’s lair and habitate identified, then you can start to dress, smell, eat, and groom like the Birds of a Feather premise so you resemble them even if you do not look identical.

By doing so you establish and then nourish your KLT variable.  That is K = Know, L = Like, and Trust = Trust.  Once you have truly established and nurtured you KLT factor, you need to go right back out there and keep attracting other Target Ideal Prosepects until your list of dates is both short and superb.  Otherwise, you want to improve your discernment skill as well as your relationship skill sets serminars.

Happy Dating and Relationships,

  1. I love Norm’s! We end up there everytime I go “home” to visit my family. Maybe I should make more visits… might find my TIP there!

Although I haven’t quite figured out my TIP yet, I have put quite a bit of thought into “watering holes” where I might meet people who are similar to me. I need to keep looking, as I haven’t really found it yet.

  4. April the more you associate and see where people hang out for me it is eaiser to see if I would be comfortable arround them. You are right it also is the same for doing business. If I do not feel comfortable I dont want to be around them or working for me.

  5. I like hanging out at Urban Mo’s……but I am married, so I guess that’s ok! Great posts all the time from you girl!

  6. Great advice on the KLT and finding the TIP lair! Really dating and relationship-building are expensive endeavors both in time, planning and effort…. the goal has to continuously be better-defined so as to get a the right ROI, wouldn’t you say?

  7. I couldn’t have asked for a better idea about thinking strategically about where to find the latina girls who I prefer to date

  1. […] Now what happens if today is just not the day for there being other singles in your T.I.P. demographic?  Are you “wasting” your time?  Nope.  Instead, follow the advice of Stephen Sills, “Love the One You’re With.” Flirt engagingly with the people who are there.  This might mean that you banter charmingly with an older lady old enough to be your Great Aunt Agatha or an elderly gentleman who could have been your grandfather.  Go ahead.  Sow the seed of good karma.  You’ll make their day when you hold a door for her or flirt with him reminding him he is still a man.  The more you make being gracious and charming your habitual behavior, the easier it will be to be like that when you are with a T.I.P. for you.
