Grief Recovery Institute’s Romantic Relationship Book – Moving On Equips Every Broken Heart to Do Just That
Despite this book’s peachy pinky cover splashed with hearts and the amusing subtitle which might lead you to think that this is a quick read and you’re done like a poor pop-psych book, in actuality Moving On is a deep work, complete with a clear process and clear action steps, to unpack your emotional baggage which we have all built up over a lifetime of losses.
Everyone who has ever suffered a broken heart will find this wonderful book useful and pertinent for them to pick up a copy at your local Barnes and Noble or online at Amazon.
Many people might not immediately think this book pertains to them unless they have just come out of a divorce or lost a spouse to death. However, who of us has not had an unrequited crush on someone? And what about those failed and ended love relationships in college? Didn’t they leave their mark on your heart in some manner either with additional armor or a tendency especially to feel things?
This book and the Grief Recovery process from the Grief Recovery Institute aids and equips each of us to unpack our emotional baggage, down from carrying a few steamer trunks to merely some carry-on and 1 checked bag (lol). Having done so and integrated the learning and the healing, we then are more fully equipped to attract, create, and sustain real intimacy in our relationships.
I highly recommend and often recommend it to dating coaching clients and at the Online Dating Workshops I lead throughout California and in Las Vegas, NV. Get two copies. You’ll be doing the exercises with a partner/friend. And you never know, by doing so with them, you might truly be assisting your friend to heal another heart, too.
Happy Dating and Relationships,
April Braswell
