Back to School of Flirting

Are you a college or undergraduate university student heading back to start the new school year this fall?  College is a great time to meet and socialize with singles in your peer age group and demographic.  Never again will you have such easy access to tons of singles in your own age group all just readily mixing with you on campus.  Strike now while the socializing is easy!

That said, college may be a great time for dating and flirting, but you want to exercise caution when it comes to making your true interest in other college co-ed students known.  All too often the two of you will be in the same social circle or university class with lab work throwing you together all semester long. The TrintMe app allows you to flirt and move forward at just the right pace for each of you while saving face.

You don’t want to ruin things by making too strong a play for the cute girl with brains or the hot guy with a fun sense of humor only to find that the romantic interest is not returned.  You want to venture forth in the college and university setting in a manner that treads lightly, leaving your fellow student a gracious out and way for you both to save face so you can continue comfortable college interaction all semester long.

The college and university journalism students who interview me are always telling tails of the college women half falling for guys connecting with them via all the fun social networking sites but then the flirtation never goes any further than that.  The guys don’t know yet how to navigate from online flirtation and giving the college women lot of initial attention to asking the woman out for an actual date and creating a romantic relationship.

Aiming for shared activities based dates gives the two of you safe items for conversation both to discuss and plan for in advance of the date and then for conversation fodder once you two have shared a few dates.

The guys suffer because they, as of yet, lack the social skills and graces to engage in real small talk which fosters interest not just romantic chemistry sparks.

The ability to engage another in meaningful conversations and dialogs is a relationship building skill with you will need not only in your romantic life, but also later in your professional life for job interviewing and networking for your work life and career.  Naturally, you want to build something of a friendship for a relationship foundation while both of you avoiding the “Friend Dead End Zone” as if you two were buddies and “hanging” out together too casually in too familiar a manner.
