Part 1 of Prom Date Tips for Teens from Dating Expert April Braswell
If you’re a teenager in America, you’ll be facing attending Prom and all that Prom Dating entails as you go through High School, Junior High, and Senior High years in school. You might be in the position of asking a girl out on a date, a real date, not just hanging out, for the very first time. Additionally, teenage girls you might be facing boys phoning and texting to ask you out on a date to the prom.
You might be wondering… How are you act? How do you respond?
When it comes then attending Prom together, what are you to do? How are you supposed to treat your Prom Date on a formal date? How is the boy to dress for Prom? Are there rules for how a boy dresses for his Prom? What about how is the girl to dress for attending Prom?
All of a sudden, having a boyfriend or girlfriend in high school is different when it come to your official Prom Date. If the two of you are a couple, does one of you have to actually ask the other to attend prom together?
Plus if you are a divorced single dad with teenage daughters, how can you help guide her to enjoy a wonderful Prom Date experience? What if how she wants to dress is against the dress code for the Catholic High School Prom she is attending? What can you? And more importantly, where on earth can you shop to find Prom Dresses appropriate for high school girls and young women, not 30 year olds at a cocktail party dance club in Las Vegas? Is there anything you can do to ensure she is both protected and has a good time without your coming off as Dictator Dad, the Tyrant and Meanie.
If you’re a single mom with boys, you might be feeling like the overly prim chaperone if you start to give your sons any Prom Date advice. How can you be a cool Modern Mom, and still help your son to be a gentleman, how to dress and treat his date, and not get into serious trouble the summer before he heads off to college.
I’ll be covering Prom Date Tips for Teens and their parents here in a series at my Dating Relationship Expert website over the next week or so as America’s High School students enjoy Prom Season.
Happy Dating and Relationships!
