  1. April, you have amazing info here for Christian singles.
Great for everyone who wants to connect with other people!
    Looking forward to tomorrow!

  2. Hi April!
We don’t have this kind of Easter Brunchs here in Spain. But it would be a great idea to implement them! They seem like a nice enviroment to engage in conversation with new people or just with other “parishioners” (I am not sure of the word in Englis) who maybe you see often but have never approached!

  3. Great ideas! When I moved to Chicago about 20 years ago, I knew NO ONE. I went to Easter Brunch and sat next to a lady who became my best friend for the entire 10 years I lived there!

  4. April,
nice tips for socializing for Easter. I am so happy to have 2 Easters. My Eastern Orthodox Easter is next week. We will make the Easter Bread twice. We best connect when there is something good to eat. 🙂

  5. I think the question, “How did you hear about our church?” is a powerful ice breaker. It’s a great way to start a conversation and can definitely offer some interesting answers since so many churches today have an “on-line” service. How incredible is it that someone from two or three towns away might have found your church from the wonders of the World Wide Web.

  6. Like all your posts here is some more great advice! I hope everyone uses it!

Nothing could be more awkward than standing around by yourself at a place where everyone is supposed to be getting together and meeting new people.

So yes sit with new people and get to know everyone… after all that is the entire point, isn’t it!?

Love the post keep ’em coming!

  7. April
Excellent advice, helps newcomers to feel at ease and also a great way to make new friends. Once the ice is broken the conversations flow.
    Keep up the good work.
