The Tuscon AZ LDS Christian Single Adult Group is hosting a Singles Conference this weekend at the LDS Tuscon East Stake Center in Arizona.

Since the advent of Internet Dating in the 1990s and its move to mainstream acceptability with singles of all faiths and ages, many Christian Churches have folded their Singles Ministries, and many of the Singles Groups which used to host Singles Conferences  and Singles Workshops as well as their former Singles Events and Single Activities.

LDS Singles are, however, still leading the way and understand that still the majority of marriage relationships start offline.  In the Age of Facebook people still crave the fuller relationship developing connection where we can see, feel, hear, and touch the other person which can only be provided in a F2F in-person contact.  Match’s study shows that only 20% of relationships start online.  So certainly you do want to have a great internet dating profile up online.

This weekend, Southwest Singles who live in, near, or around the Greater Tuscon, Arizona have a wonderful opportunity to easily meet, mix, and mingle with their fellow Tuscon Area Singles, many of whom will be of the same LDS Christian faith.  Do know, of course, that not everyone who attend will be an LDS Single.  The LDS Singles Groups are wonderful hosts, offering singles events typically throughout the month ranging from Singles Game Nights, Singles Dinner Events, as well as Singles Dance.

In the LDS Christian churches, “Single Adult” is a designation for those who are Single-Never Married, Divorced men and women where the divorce is finalized, and those like myself who have been Widowed (Widows and Widowers).  Those folks who are separated and going through a divorce, they prefer that you wait until your divorce is finalized.  And the “Adult” designation is for those Single Adults who are Over 30 Years old Singles.  v

Greater Tuscon AZ LDS Christian Single Adult Conference Event Details:

Friday Night Offers a Socializing Option for both Single Adults 31 – 45 Years Old and those Single Adults over 45 years old.  As of 8:30 pm, Adult Singles then have the option to join in a Singles Dance, Game Night, or sing for the crowds in a Karaoke evening.

Saturday features speaker workshops in the morning with a full variety of fun activities to suit anyone’s taste from Botanical Garden Visits, to Air and Space Museum trip, as well as Outdoor Park Sports activities.  They really have thought of everything to get the attending singles to mix things up and comfortably meet quite a variety of other eligible and available singles.
