Southern California Singles Scene After 50 Dating LDS January Dinner in Huntington Beach

The Huntington Beach-based LDS Christian Singles group for Late 40s/After 50 singles has been on hiatus really since October 2011.  What with the Thanksgiving Holiday and Christmas Parties, Dances, and Festivities, it’s been more than 2 months since this active Christian Singles group has met and had a social event.  They meet regularly on the 4th weekend of the month and that really did conflict with the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday.

The active Southern California Singles LDS Christian Social Group in Huntington Beach meets regularly to share a meal at a local restaurant together as well as engage in light socializing and fellowship.  I frequently hear from mature singles over the age of 45 and 5o+ what a challenge it is to meet eligible and available singles of their own age group.  All of the LDS Singles events are attended, of course, by single LDS Christians.  However, there are always singles at their events who aren’t LDS.  Everyone needs to expand their social circle and keep their social options open, weaving interesting new people ever into their lives.

Huntington Beach LDS Singles Group Late 40s/50+ Event Details:

HB Singles Event When:  Saturday, January 28th, 2012, Meet for Dinner there at 6:15 pm.

HB Singles Where:  Sandy’s Beach Grill in Huntington Beach, 315 PCH, below Duke’s, directly on the beach overlooking the Huntington Beach Pier.  Locals already know what a challenging area this is for parking.  Valet parking for about $5 is available and with the parking challenge this will surely be especially on a Saturday evening in Surf City CA, it’s recommended that you take advantage of the availability of Valet Parking.  Those who want to practice their frugal habits can meet at the HB Stakes Center on Atlanta Ave (8792 Atlanta Ave, Huntington Beach) and carpool over together and save on parking.  Doing so also offers you a chance to pre-event socialize and meet new people.  Those wanting to do that need to be parked at the Stakes Center before 5:50 pm to leave the parking lot together at 6:00 on the dot.  If you’re coming from elsewhere in The OC and aren’t uber familiar with Huntington Beach, you’ll want to take the 55 and exit Victoria and 22nd rather than the 405 which takes a longer drive on Beach or Brookhurst on what can be a busy Saturday night with extra-Date Night traffic.

RSVP Pre-Registration is Required.  Naturally the group has a reservation and seating is limited.  RSVP at the event’s Facebook Page.  You can get access to the organizers names and message them at FB alternatively if you don’t want to cite your name and information directly online.  Feel free to bring along a guy or gal friend and RSVP for both of you.

This group is very warm, open, and welcoming.  So even if this is your first time attending one of their events, you can rest assured you’ll be included, welcomed, and comfortable to attend even alone.  That also makes for more opportunities for you to socialize with new people there!
