That is off the 405 on Sawtelle Blvd. Take the Venice Blvd Exit and head North on Sawtelle. Or just follow your GPS to get there. My understanding is that there is lots of parking. In LA, that is a big plus, isn’t it?
Dress Code: This is LA. You want to dress to impress with a casual edge to it. Even if you’re wearing blue jeans, make sure they are really nice jeans paired with a great shirt, not just a schlumpy tshirt.
The LDS Singles Group who is sponsoring this dance is the 31+ year olds. The dance is open to everyone. Just know the majority of attendees will be 30 somethings into about mid 40s. If you a bit older or younger, totally cool. If you’re 65, you just run the risk of being the only there in your age demographic.
The doors open at 8:30 so you can purchase your very inexpensive $5.00 ticket. When you arrive early, you have the added advantage of meeting more of the other singles who attend. You will practice your social conversational skills the most this way as well as create more casual acquaintances and possible friendship with this social approach. It demonstrates your great confidence. You are here to connect with others. Not to be PUA.
The DJ’s dance itself starts at 9:00pm and goes until 1:00 am. There is always great food at this event as well.
