It seems like the 4th of July was only yesterday and you were watching the fireworks displays in Orange County, CA. Oh wait, yesterday WAS Independence Day!
Are you still looking for fireworks to display in your love life this summer season with some flickers or at least a Summer Romance?
SURF CITY NIGHTS is featured in Downtown Huntington Beach, better known to OC locals as “Surf City.” Downtown Huntington Beach is a bit different than the city and town center areas of a number of Orange County, CA area towns and cities. The majority of Orange County cities are designed by Civil Engineers. They are planned community, massively suburban and sprang up during the Boom Years Phase of the 1980s and 1990s. You may love them. You may hate them (for that Stepford Wives sort of feel to them.). But that is just the way it is in Orange County. Huntington Beach has an added layer of charm. There are certainly a number of economic boom planned community subdivision areas to Surf City. However, part of the charming qualities to the Downtown Surf City, Huntington Beach area is that it sprang up some what organically.
Downtown Huntington Beach features a unique combination of some national chains, like IHOP (International House of Pancakes) with locally owned and operated businesses of quite a variety of products and services. Additionally, you will find fun local restaurants, surfer gear fashion, wine bars, and clothing fashion boutiques, as well as Professional Services buildings housing the offices of Huntington Beach chiropractors and dentists. You will really catch that feeling of a real “downtown” area while still enjoying a few of the benefits of national franchise chains.
As always, there is limited street parking on Main Street in Huntington Beach. It’s best to aim to get there a bit early and get parking in the Surf City parking garages. As a single, you will have many small social opportunities to casually interact and mingle with others. Some of them will be single, some won’t. Just keep making efforts to get out and socialize with others in a comfortable manner to increase your chances of finding your Soul Mate in the offline world. Remember, it’s only 1 in 5 relationships which start online. That mean 4 in 5 start offline. 80% of relationships start offline. Increase your chances by meeting others casually socially!
Huntington Beach Surf City Nights is on Tuesday evenings in a closed off section of Downtown Surf City, aka Huntington Beach, CA, from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
