Yup. It’s Monday. My laryngitis is almost gone and my voice is SO sexy right now. (men are wilting like flies when they get me on the phone)
I’m sorting and packing and getting ready for … drum roll please… New Years Eve!
Yup. What will you be doing to welcome in the New Year?
If you’re single, do like my faithful follower Hezron is doing and make the extra effort to drive a number of miles (over 10, 25, even 35+ is WORTH it, for what? YOUR romantic love life. yes, you’re worth it.) to go to a singles dance on New Year’s Eve.
Both single guys and single gals will whimper to me like girls do over our cosmos on Girls Night Out, “Oh, only losers go to those dances….” or “There won’t be a LOT of great single men there…”
It just takes one.
Be that good one yourself.
And when you make the effort to look your best and get up and get out and go somewhere, you increase your chances of meeting that one special one for you.
When you go, DO move around. Be gracious and helpful and interact with as many other singles there as you can.
Because women to whom you are a gracious gentleman, even when you are not each other’s type or match, she will be favorably impressed by your graciousness and turn and introduce you to her girlfriends and one of THEM may be your type.
Plus, the more it is your habit to be gracious and a gentleman, the better.
The same for the ladies. EVERYtime a man goes to fetch you a drink, sweetly thank him. “oh that was so gallant of you. Thank you!” When he holds the door, helps you on or off with your coat, thank him, thank him, thank him.
Today I am sorting and deciding precisely what to bring and what to wear. I have some utterly DARLING Mary Jane hi heels, great for date, but limited for wearing for dancing and being on my feet most of the evening. So I am opting for an elegant pair of black hi heels with Rhinestones. We girls need a LITTLE Bling to ring in the new year, after all!
And a femmy DRESS in which to be festive.
Once my New Years Eve outfit is completely decided upon, THEN I can pack the rest of my bag!
What about you?
What’re YOU doing to get ready for New Years Eve?
Happy Dating and Relationships,
April Braswell
