Yes, sometimes when we are single dating, we need to remain FLEXIBLE! Even during the Christmas holiday shopping season being underway with all the stresses and craziness.
Dating Success Tip #1: Stay Up Late
Sometimes that will mean going for drinks on a work night at 9 pm. I know. Often singles are fatigued after a full date at work on the job. If you actually go home and sit on your sofa, you might feel too comfortable and desire just to stay there. Don’t let that happen to you. Avoid giving into the fatigue and go ahead and head on out for drinks n apps to meet singles for the first meeting date even right after work. Ideally, I recommend meeting for a First Date, Drinks n Apps, around 7 or 7:30 pm. But if you’re a city dweller like in Manhattan or San Francisco, it’s not uncommon for people to want to meet for a simple glass of wine a little later. Keep things flexible if you’re in a City and a single under 45 years old unencumbered by children. Single parents, I know this sort of timing really doesn’t work well for you typically.
Dating Success Tip #2: Get Up Early
Or, sigh, a breakfast Date 0, First Date from Online Dating Sites and Apps. (really NOT my favorite time, but I am the flexible YIN energy, so when they LEAD, I aim to FOLLOW their demonstrating their YANG male leadership unless I really can’t make the time/date. or for a moral reason disagree on something)
So, YES, I have a breakfast Date 0 First Date tomorrow. A first date meeting/Date Zero.
If you’re midlife singles over 50, meeting for a Brunch or Breakfast First Date could be a cool option for you two to meet for a senior first date. Sorry, “Senior” is the label the Internet Dating Industry has dubbed the age group 50 years and older. Midlifers’ often want a more informal First Date scenario than a chic and sophisticated wine bar.
Those who know me and the late night hours I keep, you are LAUGHING aren’t you?
Go ahead and laugh. That is part of my job with dating coaching, is to keep a great humorous perspective.
Dating Success Tip #3: Do Be Flexible
Easy Dating Tip: be flexible with the time of day you accept or plan on dates. best practice, YES, evening after twilight for a Date 0 First Date AND remain flexible.
Go get ‘im folks!
Happy Dating and Relationships,
