Actually, I almost never "like" to drink. I usually have a drink because of the influence of others around me. If I have a girlfriend over and I offer her an alcoholic beverage, she'll often respond with "ok, if you're having one." Then I feel obligated to have one. I just don't enjoy the way I feel the next day, even if I've only had one or two drinks. I love the idea of an AA New Years Eve party, or of staying over at a hotel that is hosting a party.
