Expert Dating Tip: Lunchtime Leverage the Law of Large Numbers to Meet Other Singles This Holiday Season

Here is it already mid-week in the first full week of December 2009, and the Holiday Shopping is under full swing.  Admittedly, with the present economy, people are not shopping as much nor spending as much on their Holiday Shopping this year.  However, they are a lot of shopper out and about.  You want to place yourself to cross their paths.

Week Day Lunchtime:

The weekend, the shopping malls and major shopping districts of such marvelous metro areas like New York (aka Manhattan or New York City to th rest of the world) are a mad house and frankly overwhelming.  When the crowds are so massive and overwhelming, people’s brains shut down from the fatigue, and even if you are doing the happy wiggly dance in front of a Potential Date, they seriously may not even see you because their brain is so tired.  So, you kinda want to avoid those on the weekend.

However, Week Day Lunchtime, even a little on the early side of lunch, 11 am, 11:30 am, can be a great time to go grab lunch at a sandwich shop or deli near the shopping malls or even to venture into the Shopping Malls Food Courts.  They will be busy and filled with people, just there will be large quantities of people, not overwhelming crowds.

At the Restaurant:

Whoever is taking your order, be it a sit-down restaurant with a table server or cashier, smile, be charming, speak with them just a little, and even see how you can find some reason to sparkle with a moment of delightful laughter.

You are not striving to create a relationship with this person, nor annoy the others who are behind you in line waiting to place their order.

Your goal is demonstrate to those about you how charming and delightful a person you, to register on their radar screen, and to perhaps plant the seed for them to desire to converse with you.  Keep your interaction light and brief.  Certainly you can always ask for their input on how the Chicken Caesar Sandwich compares to the Chicken Caesar Salad.

As you follow and implement these dating tips this holiday season, you will certainly boost your social confidence and poise and meet more eligible singles, thus increasing your chances of attracting and meeting your Soul Mate.
