Where are you getting lunch?  GO OUT!  I have a favorite deli. However, part of what I really like about it is how QUIET it is.

Sigh.

So when I want to meet more people, I put my coral lipstick on and apply my azalea pink lipgloss on top and head over to the Safeway deli of a precise location.  Why?  Because that location in particular, they are sweet but SLOW in their service.  I’ll get a GREAT sandwich and have to talk with the few ppl in front and behind me.  “Oh, what’re you getting?  How is that?  What kind of bread do you recommend with that?  Really? What do you like about that?  Oh, thanks!  I have to place my order now.  Nice chatting with you!  Enjoy your sandwich!”

What about YOUR EVENING?  Is there a Stanley Cup game on?  If not, you MUST go out. Try the list of  Business Networking events, or go do Happy Hour at the local NICE hotel’s bar.  If there IS a Stanley Cup game, you’re thinking because I’m a FAN I’ll give you the night off, weren’t you? NOPE.  Go to a SPORTS BAR.  Just phone in advance to make sure they’ll be showing the game you want to catch!  (the Minnesota Wild has been eliminated, sorry to my buds in MN.  Great team, just not their year.)

OK, that should keep you busy.

So you think you’ve met EVERYONE in your area who is in your age demographic?  Shift your thinking or I’ll have to come by and shake you!

Really, you CAN find love.  Sometimes that means go over a few towns further than you are presently doing.
