Ok, so one of the things about relationships is that we are here to actually support and help and challenge each other to grow. I am an applications maven, not an electrical components queen. So, I have a new DVR and am playing with it. JUST got the audios OFF of it (yeah! squeal of triumphant glee!)
While I haven’t gotten a certain WP plug in to work for me, I am embracing the Done Is Better Than Perfect school of marketing and aiming to get this UP at my blog.

Hey April – I tried to comment on the page with the audio but it didn’t show up – perhaps it’s awaiting moderation or been dumped as SPAM.
I didn’t get the file to run first time, I had to download it to play it, but that seems like it was just me.
I’ve found the Audio Player here (http://wpaudioplayer.com/) that Rob used to be a better way of doing it. The instructions are reasonably straightforward if you’ve got the hang of all that file uploading stuff Craig showed us at the start. Then it’s very easy to add new audios once you’ve got the player installed (like any plug in); you create a directory called audio (off the root directory of your blog) yours would be …/blog/audio and upload anything you want to say to there. Then you simply type in the HTML command [audio:yourfilename.mp3] where you want it to appear.
The only thing it won’t do is put audio into places other than blog posts (e.g. headers).
